“ Got denied test drive of new rav4 because I am planning to shop around. basically they dont wanna talk to you if you dont buy the car right away. I wasnt offered any chance to see the car, check the interior, and refused test drive. I didnt even get a chance to see the numbers. Zero sales pitch. Also forgot to mention, I called probably 4-5 days ago to inquire availability and he confirmed I can test drive it. If theres any audio recording please review it or not doesnt matter. I will be avoiding this dealership from now on. ”
“ This place is all about dineros ‼️Last week my father came into your dealership because his check engine light came on. Your service team told him it would be $250 to verify/diagnose the issue. Before moving forward, he went to a local auto parts store, where they scanned it for free and found the cause was simply a loose fuel cap. Tightening the cap resolved the issue. I understand that detailed diagnostic work has a cost, but in cases like this, I’m asking that your team perform (or at least offer) a quick preliminary check—such as confirming the fuel cap is tight and doing a basic scan—before quoting a $250 diagnostic fee. It would have saved time for everyone and avoided an unnecessary charge for a very simple fix. Please consider making this part of your normal process going forward. ”
“ Service department has refused to fix my failing back latch. It will not open or close randomly. Because it is random and they did not witness the failure they will not call in an order under my purchased warranty. Bottom line is I have a back latch I have to physically force open rather than them just fixing it! The excuse they do not know what is wrong is not good enough! Vehicles are expensive! I also purchased an extended coverage package! These have a documented history of the motor failing! They have no excuse not to just replace it based on my experiences with it and the history of failure! These doors are very difficult to open and almost impossible for me due to shoulder surgery! I called the contract providers, they said it is covered someone just has to call in and make the request but Rodland Toyota refused because they did not witness the failure? So I guess I am lying? And I’m just stuck with this happening? Unfortunately when you buy from them the maintenance is through them! I recommend you avoid buying and go somewhere that has a better maintenance record. While sales has a good review, maintenance does not! And it is the maintenance your stuck with for the next several years….. ”
“ Service department review. Yesterday I had an appointment at 10 am. The service guy told me it would be 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours. I needed to leave by 11:45. At 11:35 I talked to the service guy and he said it would be another 30 min. I asked what is the purpose of an appt if they don’t honor it. I will not be using them for service again I would give them 0 if I could. ”
